Morgen leads the college’s advancement strategy and external engagement efforts. She works closely with alumni and donors, faculty and university leadership to advance Cal Poly’s mission through transformational philanthropy, strategic partnerships and meaningful community engagement.

Morgen earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Cal Poly before completing her master’s degree in Communication and Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University. She is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), bringing expertise in philanthropic strategy, donor engagement and charitable planning to her work with alumni, donors and campus partners.

Morgen is passionate about expanding access to Learn by Doing experiences at Cal Poly, enhancing scholarship through undergraduate research and supporting innovation. She credits much of her professional success to the Learn by Doing education she received as a student at the university and is honored to help ensure today’s students have access to those same transformative opportunities through philanthropy.
