Success Starts With YOU
Study 25-35 Hours per Week
College learning looks different than high school. In addition to 15–20 hours a week in class, plan also for 25–35 hours of studying, reviewing material and completing assignments. Altogether, that’s 40 or more hours a week — equivalent to a full-time job. Approaching your academics with this mindset can help you stay organized, manage your time effectively and succeed at Cal Poly.
Our Career Fair
Each fall, we host the annual Bailey College Career Fair, connecting students with employers and industry professionals. This multi-day event offers opportunities to explore careers, find internships and build your professional network.
