GET MATCHED WITH THE RIGHT MENTOR
Allies who care about your success
Everyone can use an ally. Get advice from an industry veteran, tips from an experienced alum or support from a peer who’s seen it all. Mentors can be lifesavers, and we'll match you with one.
Match with an Expert Mentor
Bailey Alumni Mentoring Students (BAMS)
Our BAMS program will match you with an alumni or industry professional who can offer their perspective on careers, industries and life after graduation. Each expert mentor completes training on how best to listen, advise and guide. Through this mentorship relationship, you can explore career paths, ask questions and gain practical advice while building lasting connections within the Bailey network.
Connect with a Peer Mentor
Bailey College Peer Mentors
Our Peer Mentors program will pair you with a student who shares similar academic interests and experiences, and has been trained in peer mentoring. Create your own supportive and relatable network from the start. This allyship can help you build meaningful connections, gain insight from a contemporary who’s been in your shoes, and navigate college with someone invested in your success and well-being.
Mentor Conversations
During the Bailey College Student Research Conference each spring, Mentor Conversations are excellent opportunities to be up close and personal with experienced alums and industry professionals. Learn how to break through in a field or industry, navigate the start of your career, and leverage your degree in these informal and free gatherings.
BEACoN Mentoring Program
BEACoN — which stands for Believe, Educate and Empower, Advocate, Collaborate, Nurture — offers research opportunities to underrepresented students. Students of any major can apply to become BEACoN Research Scholars and be awarded $4,000 in financial aid to engage in research with a faculty mentor over the course of 20 weeks near the end of fall semester.
Bailey College Career Fair
Our Career Fair is an annual and free event held each fall. This multi-day fair will give you the opportunity to explore job and internship opportunities, receive professional guidance on your résumé, network with industry professionals and get feedback from experienced alumni and advisors who care about your professional and personal success.
